제2차 UN사무국 진출 설명회 (The 2nd Information Fair on the Job Opportunities in the UN Secretariat)
주 유엔대한민국대표부는 유엔 사무국 인사실 (Office of Human Resources Management) 과 협력하여 ‘제2차 UN 사무국 진출설명회’를 개최합니다.
뉴욕 대학원 한인학생회 및 컬럼비아 대학원 한인학생회 그리고 컬럼비아 SIPA Korea Focus의 협찬으로 마련되는 이번 행사는 UN 진출에 대한 이해를 돕고, 사무국 지원 준비 과정, 인턴쉽 및 YPP (Young Professional Program) 경쟁시험 - 과거 NCRE (National Competitive Recruitment Examinations) 제도를 대체한 유엔사무국 직원후보자 선발시험으로 금년도에는 우리나라 국민들 (만 32세 이하)도 참여 가능- 등을 포함한 주요 진출 방법에 대한 정보를 공유할 수 있는 특별한 기회가 될 것입니다. 이번 설명회에는 UN 에 진출에 성공한 한국분들과 UN 인사국 직원분들로부터 직접 관련 정보를 들을 수 있는 기회와 Q&A 시간도 마련되어 있습니다.
그간 연례적인 행사로 치뤄지고 있는 이 설명회에 보여주신 뜨거운 관심과 성원에 힘입어 더 많은 분들에게 설명회 참여 기회를 드리고자 올 행사는 인원의 제한을 두지 않고 개최하게 되었습니다.
많은 참석을 부탁드리며, 이번 설명회가 더 많은 한국학생들이 UN에 진출할 수 있는 발판이 되기를 바랍니다.

The 2nd Information fair on the job opportunities in the UN secretariat
On April 1st, Korean Permanent Mission to the United Nations, in coopeartion with the Office of the Human Resources management of the UN Secretariat, is organizing an Information Fair regarding the employment in the Secretariat. This special event will provide a general understanding of internship application and preparation for YPP (Young Professional Program) Competitive Examinations, which is a replacement of former NCRE (National Competitive Recruitment Examinations), in order to work in UN. This is a great opportunity to meet staff members from the Office of Human Resources Management within the Secretariat and hear the successful career stories from the Korean staff members in the Secretariat. We will have Q&A sessions for every presentation by the staff members. We hope that this session would assist students with essential information to begin their careers as a staff member of UN Secretariat. We highly encourage you to participate and take full advantage of this info session.
Who should attend: Undergraduate Students in Senior Year / Current Graduate Students / Graduate School Alumni
